Elijah Jordan Wood was born on January 28th 1981 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, U.S.A. His mother, Deborah, enrolled him in a local talent/modeling school, hoping to find an outlet for his energy. Elijah also known as 'Lij' were modeled and did local commercials before moving with his family (his older brother, Zach. His father, Warren, and sister, Hannah) to Los Angeles in 1988. It was there that Wood got his first break, a small role in a Paula Abdul video. Elijah got his start in film when he appeared in 'Back to the Future II' for a brief speaking role. After a couple more small roles, he got a considerable part in 'hild in the Night'. After that, things just kept getting bigger. He was a child actor. He's not on drugs, hasn't been in therapy, and keeps on smiling. Unlike other young actors, he is obsessed with music, knows how to express himself verbally, and seems to be one of the nicest people anyone could ever meet. Who'd a thought that little Elijah would have become one of Hollywood's most aclaimed and talented actors?
